Situated along the picturesque Gulf of Mexico in Baldwin County is Gulf Shores with a population of roughly 10,000 spread over 28 square miles.
Gulf Shores is a coastal community with a heavy influence of tourism that fuels its economy. Gulf Shores hosts the annual three-day music festival on the beach every year in May also known as the Hangout Music Festival. For anyone who loves music, they can enjoy hip hop, rock, indie and dance music while relaxing on the beautiful beach. Historically there have been several famous artists that have performed here including The Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty and Paul Simon just to name a few.
